FICTION:
"RE/MAX is just a high commission company - they don't really
have the tools that I need to succeed".
FACT:
While RE/MAX agents do generally earn the "maximum commission",
most agents are surprised by all of the tools offered. From custom
agent websites (with the entire MLS listings on them!) to the
latest in technology gear, we offer similar tools as other brokers,
and in some cases, we offer more. Actually this idea of being
"just a high commission company" has been around since
RE/MAX first started taking off in the 1970s. There are other
high commission companies out there, but none of them have seen
the global success and growth of RE/MAX - 62 countries and approaching
115,000 agents worldwide.
FICTION:
"RE/MAX is just about charging agents high monthly desk fees".
FACT:
We offer a variety of compensation plans to suit every agents
needs. The real fact is that all agents pay desk fees....some
of you pay from your commissions earned each deal and some pay
a flat monthly fee. Whichever your option is, we have plans to
suit your budget, income and productivity.
FICTION:
"No-one has ever heard of RE/MAX around here"
FACT:
RE/MAX is by far the most successful real estate network in the
world with almost 100,000 agents in 51 countries (and growing).
Furthermore, the RE/MAX hot air balloon is one of the 25 most
recognizable corporate logos in the world (next to McDonald's
golden arches and Nike's swoosh). Locally, RE/MAX now has almost
23% market share in Franklin County and we're growing every day.
FICTION:
"I'm not good enough to be a RE/MAX Town Center agent".
FACT:
Although RE/MAX agents average $114,000 per year in gross commissions
in Northeast Ohio, we have agents who do as little as 15 transactions
per year (and as many as 100 deals!). With 3 different compensation
options, most full-time agents can be very successful with RE/MAX
Town Center!
